About FTBO We care. And know that when people help each other good things happen.

For The Benefit Of (FTBO), Inc. is a 501C3 charitable organization that provides the foundation to structure a fundraising event and bring it from idea to fruition. To learn more about the FTBO process contact us for more information.

FTBO was founded on January 11, 2011, by Dan Smith and family of Montvale, NJ.  Many thanks to Chris, Bill, Joe, Mary, John, Lisa, Vicki & Tom who are a group of special people that served as a sounding board in the summer of 2010 as the structure of FTBO took shape.

Our mission is to financially assist families with healthcare costs, educational needs and to support organizations that have a significant impact on the communities our families live in.

We look to the grace and elegance of the butterfly and realize that our journey is the only guarantee in life. Our responsibility is to make our way in faith, accept the changes that come and emerge from the transitions in our lives as brilliantly as the butterfly.

The way the sunflower moves its head to meet the sun makes it a flower of spiritual attainment, flexibility and opportunity. It is a symbol of good luck, wealth and ambition. Give sunflowers to someone who is working toward a goal or needs a big break in their lives.
